Ranks and Requirements

If you are thinking about becoming a member of The Ancient Order of Asuryan, before you apply please familiarise yourself with our Ranking structure. Below is a list of current Ranks and the Requirements needed to attain and retain each Rank.

Guild Ranks and Requirements:

Officer Requirements:
-Be respectful, not just to the guild and alliance members but to all people in the game. You are a representative and ambassador of our guild
-Help other guild members whenever you can
-Communication in officer chat, vent and guild chat is required for all officers
-Know what you are doing, officers should have a good knowledge of the game. No one knows everything, but be willing to learn.
-Commitment is required for officers to the advancement and improvement of all facets of the guild
-Officers are role models for each and every member of the guild, and should act as we would like all guild members to act
-Keeping a positive attitude is required when communicating with other guild members
-Abuse of officers’ powers is not permitted. If at any time you feel an officer is abusing their power, please inform the Guild Masters.

Member Ranks

Initiate
Description of Rank – An initiate is a newly joined member of AOoA
Benefits of Rank – You’re a member of AOoA
How to Achieve the Rank – Fill in an application form and have it approved by an officer
Note – This a probationary period that will last 2 weeks, during this time they are asked to be involved in the guild and show interest. An officer will be assigned to assist the initiate. After the 2 week period has expired, the officer in charge will communicate with the other officers and leaders of the member’s eligibility into the guild, and is either promoted or asked to leave if they are not suited to joining.

Squire
Description of Rank – A fully fledged member of AOoA
Benefits of Rank – Ability to read alliance chat, access to all membership aspects of the guild, including membership areas and member level access to the guild bank
How to Achieve the Rank – Pass the probationary period, update the roster page with your details and post in the introduction thread.
How to Maintain the Rank – Participate in at least one guild event a month, log onto vent when in guild events, visit the guild website frequently and keep your profile on the guild website up to date

Spear of Asuryan
Description of Rank – Members who are involved with AOoA and have shown that they want to be an active part of the guild
Benefits of Rank – Ability to chat in Alliance chat, access to more of the guild bank, priority in number restricted events
How to Achieve the Rank – Been a member for at least a month, participate in at least 5 guild events and post on the guild forums

Knight of Asuryan
Description of Rank – Members who have placed AOoA above themselves, helping out whenever possible and playing their class very well
Benefits of Rank – Access to Alliance chat, access to get loans from the guild bank, access to the raid benefits and the ability to be a standard bearer for the guild, access to officer chat listen and officer forums
How to Achieve the Rank – Participate in at least 10 events, participate in at least 10 winning keep raids and a successful keep defence
How to Maintain the Rank – Participate in at least 3 guild events a month, be active on the guild forums

Officer Ranks

Tier Master
Description of Rank – First officer rank, these members are required to organise guild events and help with general queries you may have in a specific tier
Benefits of Rank – Access to officer abilities including invite, officer access on the website, officer forums, and officer chat
How to Achieve the Rank – Have shown unflagging loyalty to the guild and it s members, shown competence in activities and guild events has demonstrated the qualities listed in officer requirements and has applied for an officer position

Templar
Description of Rank – Templar’s are responsible for the running of the guild, they look after keeping the guild in check, promotions and the everyday running of the guild
Benefits of Rank – Demote, promote, remove member, alliance officer read
How to Achieve the Rank – Have achieved the rank of Tier Master and have shined in the role of Tier Master
How to Maintain the Rank – See Officer Requirements

High Templar
Description of Rank – The highest ranking members apart from the guild leaders, they are responsible for keeping the guild on track, maintaining alliances, training new officers and assisting the guild leaders
Benefits of Rank – Assistance in all major decisions of the guild, Set MOTD, modify guild info, alliance officer chat, create alliance events
How to Achieve the Rank – Be nominated and voted in by the current High Templars and guild leaders

Asuryan’s Avatar
Description of Rank – Designated Leader/s of AOoA, they are responsible for the direction of the guild, alliances, and all other aspects of the guild
Benefits of Rank – Leader/s of the guild
How to Achieve the Rank – Voted in when current leader/s step down. Nominations taken from all officers for a replacement
How to Maintain the Rank – N/A
